Carole Andrews is the sculptor currently exhibiting in the main reception of Berkeley Square House. Showcasing ‘Green’ and ‘Blue Franchettii’,Carole takes her inspiration from studying coral reefs and the natural world. From this she expands her minutiae findings and research creating her pieces on larger scales.Characteristics of wild and cultivated plants are also starting points for Carole’s pieces.
The work from Carole’s Franchettii collection was developed after a surprise in her garden when she came across by chance the vivid papery seed pods of Physalis Franchettii. Carole’s interpretation of the seed pod discovery in multifaceted folded and stitched forms, invites the viewer to take a second look.
Her work is on display until mid July 2015 and is visible from street level. For any further information on sales or commissions please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
