André Eichman is a photography based fine artist. He grew up in San Diego and Germany before spending time in Asia. He now lives in the UK and focuses primarily on photographing the natural world.
‘I love to explore the world around me and my work is about finding the quiet within the image; whether it is in nature or an urban environment. I want to focus the attention on a single image or the texture of a landscape. I love to challenge what the viewer is looking at, to make them take a closer look.’
André’s work has been exhibited around the world as well as being held in many private collections. He shoots with a range of different cameras including large format film cameras. This series of images is produced on Hahnemühle archival paper to bring out the textures and vibrancy of the image.
